Award Winning Image

As a new member of the Guild of Photographers, I want to make the most of my membership and this means entering the ‘image of the month’ competition.  My first image, a photo of my best friends son, taken on the wonderful Shugborough Estate in Staffordshire (although it was the week before the Shugborough grounds opened officially, there’s still beautiful walks to be undertaken!), was entered into the March competition and I was pleased to find out at the end of April that it scored a bronze award.  A bronze award is given to images of 'strong standard at a professional level’ so naturally I was over the moon with the award.  Here’s the image in question:
